Speaking to the Maine Women’s Lobby he labeled the ballot measure’s success promising for greater safety, although campaign aide Harry Burke later denied any support or vote by Dunlap. Former governor Paul LePage earned perfect grades from the NRA plus two Maine sportsmen organizations while Dunlap received mixed ones before the November 3 contest.
