Amoral Democrats: Poll Shows Majority View Abortion, Gender Transition as Morally Acceptable

Listen to Article

The Gallup numbers lay bare a moral inversion that should alarm every gun owner who still believes rights flow from a Creator rather than a shifting majority vote. When more than half of one major party now deems the deliberate ending of unborn life and the chemical or surgical alteration of healthy minors as “morally acceptable,” the same coalition is simultaneously pushing to treat the Second Amendment as a mere policy preference that can be licensed, taxed, or repealed by the next legislative session. The through-line is consistent: once human nature itself is declared malleable and expendable, any enumerated protection—including the right of the people to keep and bear arms—becomes just another social construct to be managed by experts.

That worldview carries direct consequences at the ballot box and in the courts. Lawmakers who view children as raw material for ideological projects rarely hesitate to treat law-abiding adults as potential threats whose magazines, pistol grips, or carry permits must be curtailed “for the common good.” The same states racing to codify gender medicine for minors are also the ones floating insurance mandates that penalize gun owners or pushing “red flag” schemes that bypass due process. Pro-2A citizens therefore have every incentive to treat cultural questions about the sanctity of life and the immutability of sex as frontline Second Amendment issues, because the philosophical premises now enjoying majority support inside one party are the same premises that justify future confiscation orders.

The practical takeaway is straightforward: elections that decide who sits on school boards, state legislatures, and the federal bench are no longer downstream from gun rights—they are the gun-rights battlefield itself. A voting bloc comfortable redefining murder and mutilation as moral goods will not suddenly develop scrupulous respect for parchment barriers once it consolidates power. The data from Gallup simply confirms what serious defenders of the Second Amendment have long argued: culture and constitutional carry travel together, and losing the former guarantees the eventual loss of the latter.
