Dawn Freeman, 44, is jailed on a homicide charge after Pennsylvania State Police say she shot and killed her husband, Bradley Freeman, at their Adams Township home on Mine 42 Road.

Investigators found him dead in the living room from a single chest wound. Police say she told them she fired his 9mm pistol during a fight about him leaving the weapon unsecured, a habit she had asked him to stop because of their two children.

Authorities say she picked up the gun and pointed it at him in that dispute.
