She treated Project 2025 as an operational script that advertised intended damage in advance rather than a simple outline. Pressley said the strategy exists to tilt the rules because a fair contest cannot be won, that no other program exists besides causing injury, and that citizens already feel the results.

She urged immediate backup planning because daily fights over the vote are expected, held the high court responsible for helping erode open balloting, and said Democrats must hold the House so they can enact the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
