Guest host Jacob Soboroff discussed a United States military plan to broadcast an execution live on Friday’s All In on MS NOW and asked Representative Ro Khanna of California for comment.

Khanna said Pete Hegseth claims a winning mindset while overseeing a conflict America is losing, calling the approach both a moral failure and a strategic error. Khanna argued the broadcast would serve entertainment and humiliation, lack support in current humanitarian law, isolate the country, elevate the offender, and aid terrorist recruitment worldwide as a sign of failed leadership.

Soboroff said the plan would encourage similar acts by others. He noted Hegseth last week sought a more Christian armed forces and this week faced bishop criticism for directing troops to kill a prisoner on a live feed.
