Actor Mark Ruffalo and Senator Elizabeth Warren have pressed California Attorney General Rob Bonta to keep pursuing a lawsuit aimed at blocking Paramount from combining with Warner Bros. Discovery.

Ruffalo wrote on X that 5,670 filmmakers had already backed the effort and that more than 75,000 people signed a petition in three weeks asking officials to reject the transaction.

Warren separately posted that the $111 billion deal should still be challenged, pointing to President Trump keeping CNN, MS Now, and Politico out of the White House as a preview of concentrated media power if the companies join.
