A judge declined to throw out Brady's 2023 case against American Tactical, Inc., finding a 60-round magazine from a FedEx mass shooting is not a firearm part and so is not shielded by PLCAA. The suit says the firm sold that magazine on its site to buyers of any age, criminal record, or mental history, ran ads of extreme violence styled like games and movies, and put no safeguards in place. It also claims the magazine let the shooter fire without reloading and held about six times a typical magazine's capacity.
