On Yom Kippur, sports business analyst Darren Rovell posted about hostility toward Jews. He attributed much of it to jealousy and noted that Jews form under 2 percent of the American population yet 33 percent of a Forbes list of the worlds richest people issued the same day.

Users replied that such messages cause antisemitism, that his post does not help, and that highlighting wealth will not reduce hostility. Rovell answered that pride causes antisemitism.
