Iowa Republican nominee Zach Lahn told Larry O’Connor that Democrat Rob Sand holds liberal views while seeking to appear moderate.

Lahn proposed lowering the state gasoline tax and ending tax incentives for data centers. He compared his work in business and farming with Sand’s two decades in government and said he entered the race after Governor Kim Reynolds chose not to continue. O’Connor also noted attention to the contest from Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Rachel Maddow.
