Whoopi Goldberg introduced a clip from Trump’s Monday rally in Nebraska, where he sought to justify military action against Iran amid rising fuel costs and said Americans would need to accept hardship. In those remarks he called for a decisive outcome that would validate earlier decisions, described wartime price spikes as temporary, and treated the possible destruction of Los Angeles and San Diego as an acceptable cost of keeping the nation and the world secure.

Hostin noted that San Diego ranks as the country’s eighth-largest city, houses major naval facilities including Navy SEAL units, and that the two metropolitan areas together hold about 10 million people, arguing those facts made the comments especially alarming and strengthened the case for considering removal.
