Jonathan Tijerina, a 31-year-old gun control advocate, was arrested after allegedly spraying red paint that read stop killing kids on the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan. He was charged with criminal mischief as well as graffiti.

He recorded video of walking up to the site, taking a spray can from his bag, and applying the words over multiple panels. Personnel at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum removed the graffiti.
