Dexter Taylor is serving ten years at New York's Coxsackie Correctional Facility after trial conviction for making home firearms without NYPD registration, with no allegation he harmed anyone or sold them. In Pennsylvania, 34-year-old Alexander Jones received probation after pleading guilty with Julia Rose Carter to conspiracy on unlawful firearm transfers and false statements after a February domestic incident in which Carter reported buying five guns for him that he sold and threats when she refused another, plus a later purchase after police warning. Felonies were not pursued and Taylor's lawyer said a plea would have meant under four years.
