Shreveport officers reached Whaley Food Service on a shooting call and discovered 42-year-old Michael Durham wounded in the hand together with a second man who had slight head injuries.
A witness described Durham walking in and hitting the other man in the face, followed by two shots and Durham fleeing. The second man had discharged a handgun that struck Durham during the fight. Durham previously threatened the man over a suspected affair involving Durham's wife. Police arrested Durham on a second-degree battery charge, and the employee who fired remains uncharged so far.
