Every presidential election cycle, certain parts of the country become very popular. Iowa and New Hampshire, for example, see a parade of primary candidates fill up diners and barbershops as they woo “everyday Americans” in those early primary states. Later in the campaign, the swing states, and even swing counties, take center stage.
