A 24-year-old man died Wednesday in the yard of an Austin, Texas, house after the resident shot him. Dmario Antonie Jones had entered the property without permission and reached a bedroom.

Police were called at 3:51 a.m. Officers found Jones with visible injuries and pronounced him dead at 4:10 a.m. Local reports said he had planned a burglary.
