Streamlight now offers the Wedge SL, a compact rechargeable utility flashlight meant for daily pocket carry instead of high-intensity tactical work. The aluminum body stretches a little past five and a half inches long and slightly more than half an inch wide, weighs just over an ounce, and rides flat against the pocket with its attached clip.
The light carries an IPX4 water-resistance rating and uses an integrated USB-C battery. Default output is 50 lumens for 3.5 hours; TEN-TAP programming can switch the startup level to 100 lumens for 1.75 hours. Holding the switch while the light is already on produces a 500-lumen burst that lasts 30 seconds before returning to the prior setting, and a built-in indicator signals when charging is due.
