Makoshika State Park will bar visitors from sections above the series of tight road bends Tuesday through Friday, October 13-16, as crews spray invasive weeds. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will spray solely when weather allows and will tell the public after the effort concludes.

The visitor center remains open on its winter schedule. Guests can still reach the lower group shelter along with trails that lie below those road bends.
