Tink's has marketed its #69 doe-in-heat scent to deer hunters for over 50 years. The lure relies on urine from estrous does and can be used from the start of the rut through later breeding windows.
Hunters introduce it at scrapes, corridors and staging spots early, then via drags, stations and wicks as activity peaks, and afterward for remaining receptive does. Formats include liquid, mist, a gel that streams past 10 feet and clings in rain or wind, a fogger and a stick.
A Tink's product director said the scent stays a tradition while varied delivery options match individual styles and conditions, with information at tinks.com under Arcus Hunting.
