Staff at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks ask for tips from people who might have seen a missing female bighorn. The hybrid Rocky Mountain animal disappeared from a private livestock holding near Vaughn during the first part of September.

It has a weight of about 120 pounds, a coat that is mostly white, and a red tag attached to one ear. The agency notes risk that it could encounter wild bighorns and introduce disease.
