Winchester posted the first of seven Big Game Ammo 101 videos to help hunters choose loads for deer, moose, and elk.

The company has made firearms and ammunition for more than 150 years. Suitable cartridges differ by terrain, firearm, and species, and some options such as Power Point emphasize lower cost. Recent products include American Lever Range for lever-action hunting rifles, AutoBuck buckshot built for semiautomatic shotguns and hunting plus other roles, and Deer Season XP introduced at SHOT Show 2025.
