This week on TFB’s Behind the Gun Podcast, I’m joined by a long-time friend and supporter of TFB, Martin from FALCO Holsters. Most of you here already know that FALCO Holsters is the Slovakian leather shop that’s been putting American concealed carriers into some of the best-fitted leather holsters on the market. Today we get into the company’s origin story in falconry gloves, sewn by founder Ivan Kovac for forestry school students. Martin also walks us through how that turned into a full holster line built in the Štiavnica Mountains, and the company’s role in the unique gun culture in Slovakia, which has more in common with ours than you’d expect. Please give Martin a warm welcome to the program!
