The Italian Air Force has purchased two extra MQ-9A Block 5 aircraft from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. The firm made the announcement on 8 September 2026 in San Diego. Delivery is set for late 2027 and will enlarge the service’s existing MQ-9A holdings.
