Accuracy International, the Portsmouth precision rifle maker established in 1980, now belongs to FN Browning Group after the deal closed. The Belgian-based organization, with 4,200 staff and more than 20 plants in nine NATO nations, will keep the British brand’s name while adding extreme long-range systems to its range. Combined with FN UK, the group is Britain’s only maker of military machine guns and rifles, serving armed forces, police and competitive shooters across over 70 nations.
