Team Federal shooter Derrick Mein took the All-Around championship at the 2026 NSCA National Championships in San Antonio, Texas. The Kansas native and two-time Olympian also placed second in the Main Event, 5-Stand, and 20 Gauge during the October 17-25 contest that attracted over 2,600 shooters from many countries.

He used Federal 1-ounce HOA loads plus Gold Medal Papers at 1290 fps for longer shots, and switched to a lighter lens after a tough first station on Sunday. After a short deer hunting break he will compete in Peru at the CAT Games seeking a 2028 Los Angeles Olympic quota.
