A three-rail forend intended for the Thompson can be printed with eleven perimeter walls and solid infill. Carbon-fiber nylon or reinforced PLA are listed as suitable materials, and the model should sit as supplied or be tilted fifteen degrees onto one side. Installation uses the shorter fastener from a conventional forend rather than the longer screw made for a pistol-grip forend.
