A STEP model of an SLR Rifleworks 3.7 Draco handguard is now available after the owner reverse-engineered a purchased metal unit and adjusted geometry for additive manufacturing. The file is unfinished at roughly 95 percent and has not been printed or fitted.
The designer completed the current version today and is sharing only the STEP data until a physical test occurs. Because the original part is metal, the printed version is expected to fail from heat, and rear fitment may be off after features were altered for printability. Anyone who prints it first is asked to report fit; the designer plans to test and update later.
