A 3D-printed barrel now exists that fits an extended rail on the Perfect 10/22 receiver from db-firearms. The rail fastens with the same heat-set insert and screw listed in the receiver instructions. The barrel is cut with 1/2-28 threads so a matching adapter to 5/8-24 can be glued in place with epoxy for extra strength, as Print-a-22 advised.

A Redman liner 5/16 inches across and 4.5 inches long is glued inside the printed barrel. The part is printed standing up with the chamber against the build plate and supports under the shoulder, using 0.08 layer height on the threads.
