A picatinny blank first issued by Unseenkiller has been recut so it accepts imperial-threaded fasteners. Makers who wish to produce their own rail pieces can therefore skip metric stock and obtain the screws from an ordinary hardware retailer.

The required hardware consists of two 10-32 pan-head Phillips bolts one inch long with 1/8-inch heads together with two additional 10-32 bolts.
