A maker posted an updated printable vertical AR grip derived from gabouyou’s Thingiverse file. After testing the first print, the maker rounded the flat zone the thumb contacts, widened the fastener opening to fit a 1/4-28 by 1.25-inch socket-head screw, and introduced a recess for a detent spring.

Print settings from the source file still work well. Grid supports angled at 55 degrees for the section over the fingers produce a smoother result. The file carries the maker’s logo on the base, which users can delete.
