A Chaszel .22 liner is offered for the SMP5K22. Its 0.370-inch outer diameter required the receiving hole to be enlarged.

The liner measures 3 and 15/16 inches, so it extends beyond the threads and can shield a suppressor from heat unless shortened. A 5.5-inch version is also listed for an integral suppressor that likewise shields the can.

The 3D2A threaded barrel exceeds 2.5 inches, lacks rifling, and costs a little more than ten dollars extra.
