Monrovia police arrested a wanted suburban Los Angeles man inside a Panda Express after he entered while they ate lunch. Officers had sought him for a month on a no-bail felony probation warrant.

He had twice fled earlier capture attempts by running onto a freeway during walks, as further pursuit would have risked public safety. Body camera video released Thursday captures two officers rising from their meal to subdue him on the floor earlier this summer.

The officers later finished eating.
