Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts appeared Saturday on MS NOW’s The Weekend and said Republican lawmakers lack any independence from Donald Trump.

She noted Congress will stay out of session until after the midterm elections 24 days away.

Warren said the vote will decide between more years of that pattern or new members who will try to end a war, undo tariffs she labeled illegal, reverse healthcare cuts, and stop data-center projects she tied to gifts for Trump’s ballroom and triumphal arch. She named Abdul El-Sayed and Peggy Flanagan as examples of such candidates.
