Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland spoke Wednesday on MS NOW program ALL In. He said President Donald Trump entered a conflict without knowing how to leave it after predicting an end in four or five weeks and claiming victory months earlier. Van Hollen added that leaving requires ending further involvement and that the president does not know how to protect the nation or stabilize the region.
He said the State Department lists protection of Americans abroad as its top overseas task yet has not achieved it. Van Hollen asked colleagues who voted no the night before why they fail to seek justice for Americans killed in the West Bank.
