President Donald Trump addressed Republicans at their midterm convention in Dallas on Wednesday and set out party goals. Those goals covered tight control of national entry points, reduced tax rates, an end to criminal activity, and U.S. leadership in energy output, plus backing for the armed forces, former service members, and police.

He also said the party would overcome communist influence inside the country by choosing American freedom at the polls.
