Rowling, the platform signals that disagreement itself is now a form of bigotry, a move that chills open debate far beyond the gender wars. For Second Amendment advocates, the lesson is immediate: if an institution can redefine a centuries-old philosophical position as hate speech overnight, it can just as easily redefine the plain text of the Second Amendment as an “outdated relic” that must be “reinterpreted” into irrelevance.
