Maryland Democratic Senator Angela Alsobrooks appeared Friday on MS NOW program The Beat and argued that midterm voters will remove Republicans from office. She cited rising prices for groceries, housing, utilities, and gasoline along with what she called presidential corruption. She said only the president’s relatives and associates have gained while living costs have climbed and living standards have fallen for others.
Alsobrooks predicted Americans will conclude Republicans cannot continue leading and that the country should return to emphasizing household costs, neighborly concern, health coverage, fuel prices, and ending the Iran conflict. She forecast a shift in congressional control because the public sees the Republican president, House, and Senate as responsible for the current situation.
