Louisiana Republican Steve Scalise, the House majority whip, spoke Friday on Hannity about several dozen closely watched House races. He had just toured eight of those districts in the Northeast, including a stop in New York.

Scalise said some Democratic primary winners support unrestricted entry at the border, abolition of private medical insurance, and taking weapons from officers rather than from lawbreakers. He referenced a Scranton-area contest involving Barb Bresnahan. He added that participation by all eligible voters would decide whether those candidates succeed.
