Representative Brendan Boyle of Pennsylvania said Friday on the MS NOW program The Last Word that Democrats would investigate Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought if they win the House in the midterm elections.

Boyle, who would chair the Budget Committee, said House Democrats would keep living costs as their main priority while also conducting oversight of the budget office and of Vought over impoundment and other steps Boyle called unlawful. He said Jamie Raskin would chair Judiciary and issue subpoenas into alleged corruption, and Robert Garcia would chair Oversight and issue subpoenas too.

Boyle said those inquiries must accompany work on living costs rather than replace it.
