She cited a Washington Post report this week that his administration lawyers halted international talks requiring people to verify targets before AI systems could kill with military weapons.

Host Seth Meyers asked if Trump is poorly equipped to manage AI amid recent dire forecasts, even while doubting Democrats would fare better. Maddow said the president acted so machines could use those weapons to kill without people able to stop them.
