On Sunday Illinois Governor JB Pritzker told ABC This Week viewers that Donald Trump stands as the worst self dealing chief executive the United States has known, possibly across its full history. Host Jonathan Karl asked if Democrats should treat a Russian oligarchs support for Donald Trump Jr wedding event as a problem. Pritzker said the core problem is Trumps conduct in Washington.

He claimed Trump never succeeded in business and filed for bankruptcy six times, yet now profits as president by taking from the public and by choices that put cash in his own accounts, his relatives accounts, and those of allies such as Howard Lutnick. Pritzker added that Democrats should campaign on that record in 2026, resist, and insist on accountability.
