Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia appeared Tuesday on the MS NOW program The Briefing to discuss artificial intelligence. He argued that family financial ties mean the public cannot rely on President Donald Trump to put the country first on the issue.
Ossoff cited Donald Trump Jr.s venture fund 1789 Capital and its large positions in AI laboratories and data centers, plus the presidents own stock holdings. He judged that profit ranks above even self regard for Trump, and that the first family holds substantial stakes just as a high-stakes technological shift begins.
He said a conflicted president plus an inactive White House and Congress leave the nation unprepared, making a midterm election win essential.
