Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia spoke Monday on MS NOW program The Last Word and portrayed President Donald Trump as corrupt and incompetent in a manner that endangers the country. Ossoff stated that the election cycle finishes in 50 days and that early voting in Georgia starts in less than a month.

He urged citizens to treat the coming weeks as a duty to themselves, the nation, and later generations instead of sinking into despair, calling a decisive win a patriotic obligation with Georgia as the central battleground. That morning he met his campaign manager to plan steps that would help Democrats take the Senate majority and hold Trump to account.

Ossoff also said that even after grim recent conditions the country can still achieve a great deal once it reunites.
