Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff rejected through a spokesperson Thursday the comments of far-left online host Hasan Piker after Piker said American Jews could face violence for supporting Israel. Ossoff, Georgia’s first Jewish senator, says policy advocacy must not invite harm to Jews or others and Americans should petition government without reprisal.

The comments came two hours into a nearly seven-hour August 20 stream showing Jewish Michigan state senator Jeremy Moss, the Democratic nominee in the 11th district who denied a fabricated audio clip. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries condemned them Monday and confirmed on CNN he meant Piker, calling the remarks harmful and anti-Jewish, while Representative Josh Gottheimer compared the idea to Nazi methods and said refusing to condemn equals complicity. Piker blamed the pro-Israel lobby and had called Ossoff an unexpected 2028 prospect, which Republican Mike Collins says frames the Georgia race as America versus haters.
