Lakewood, Colorado, officers answering a Thursday 9:30 p.m. suspicious-person call found a man boarding a public bus who was allegedly connected to an earlier hit-and-run; he drew a gun and shot four of them, killing one Lakewood Police agent. Governor Jared Polis said three agents remained in hospital care and a civilian was wounded. Everytown for Gun Safety ranks Colorado 11th for gun-control stringency, including a red flag law, concealed-carry permit requirement, storage laws, a Glock switch ban, a bump stock ban, a high-capacity magazine ban, and ghost-gun regulations.
