Democratic candidate Shelly Headen, running for the North Carolina legislature against Republican incumbent John Blust in suburban Guilford County, posted Facebook material from a trip to the Dachau memorial showing her smiling before crematorium ovens and asserting that Trump supporters belong at the site.
She further suggested an attack on American soil, preferably in Alabama or Louisiana, as the nations only hope. Police documents from 2024 name her as the suspect in two domestic incidents listing her husband as the potential victim. In a September 3 statement she described one 2024 argument in which her husband grabbed her, she fell and struck her head, and she called 911, which does not match the two-visit record.
Her campaign did not respond to questions about the posts or the allegations.
