On Wednesday, MS NOW host Alicia Menendez discussed the Trump administration dropping Affordable Care Act enrollees it views as fraudulent. She said the law was structured so younger adults would enroll yet seldom need care, which would reduce expenses for other participants, and that unused coverage therefore does not prove misconduct.

She added that many of those removed had received notices giving them 30 days to confirm they wanted to keep their plans and simply missed the deadline. The government later opened a telephone line so those people could restore their insurance.
