On Tuesday, Massachusetts Representative Seth Moulton, a Senate candidate, told NBC that Democratic Socialists of America candidates belong inside the Democratic Party.

Guest host Monica Alba noted Florida Representative Jared Moskowitz had said those members cannot share the party with him and asked Moulton where he stood.

Moulton replied that local voters, including in parts of New York City, had chosen them, so the party must include a range of views to remain a majority and settle internal disagreements. He said news organizations exaggerate splits among Democrats. He added that Democrats may differ on the precise path to coverage yet all want every American to have it, in contrast with Republicans now removing it from millions.
