Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport is repeating his demand that socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani be forced from office while considering a 2029 race against him. He told Fox News that Mamdani has failed the city and divided it more than any previous mayor, and he accused Mamdani’s wife of antisemitism, racism, and homophobia.

In December Rapaport declared he would seek the mayoralty once Mamdani assumed the post. He expects to start campaigning in the middle of 2028, citing his concern for New York and opposition to Mamdani’s performance.
