Arizona Senator Mark Kelly said Sunday on CBS Face the Nation that Democrats will raise taxes on those with yearly incomes exceeding one million dollars to lower costs.

He cited legislation with Senator Chris Van Hollen that would also provide tax cuts for individuals and couples earning up to about one hundred sixty thousand dollars. Kelly said Democrats must win the House or Senate first. He stated that ending the Iran war started without a strategic goal and reversing tariffs would cut prices because Americans pay them, not other countries.

The measures would help working class people and seniors on fixed incomes.
