HBO host Bill Maher stated on Friday’s Real Time that the political left routinely refuses to converse with people holding different views.

Florida Republican Representative Byron Donalds, the party’s nominee for governor, discussed a meeting between Jared Kushner and New York Democrat Hakeem Jeffries. Donalds said Jeffries acted defensively because Democrats had become agitated, while Republicans showed no agitation over the Kushner-Jeffries meeting. He added that Democrats, including James Carville whom Maher had mentioned, were the ones displaying agitation.

Maher then agreed with that assessment.
